Doing My Part

Project Guidelines – Current Project Max – $750

Below are the guidelines to being an approved project on Doing My Part and must all be present to receive funding.

  • Priority is given to Projects with a specific, immediate need dealing with a Charlotte, NC Mecklenburg County (or surrounding counties) child aged birth through 18.
  • Project may apply for up to $750 for a one-time need that can be met with DMP funds.
  • Project Must have a Point of Contact for the Recipient with whom DMP can communicate with.
  • The family/caregiver agrees to allow the pictures (or 'creative' pictures in case of privacy/legal reasons) and story to be shared on doingmypart.com, associated social media pages and potentially other 3rd party websites.
  • Family/caregiver and associated people agree to follow-up communication/survey after successful project completion.
  • Application must contain the name and contact information for an organization, institution or business that will accept DMP funds for the specific need. DMP funds will not be provided directly to a family/caregiver.
  • Once a project is complete, the family/caregiver or associated person must wait a minimum of 12 months before re-applying on behalf of the same child.
